Ewan McGregor Is To Voice An Animated Pigeon

Ewan McGregor is to voice the main character in the comedy Valiant, an animated feature film, according to Variety.

The comedy tells the story of a lowly wood pigeon who overcomes his small size to become a hero in Great Britain's Royal Air Force Homing Pigeon Service during World War II. The RHPS advanced the Allied cause by flying vital messages about enemy movements across the English Channel, while evading brutal attacks by the enemy's Falcon brigade.

The other actors who are involved are Ben Kingsley, Jim Broadbent, Rupert Everett and John Hurt.

Valiant is expected to be completed in December 2004.

This is the third animated movie that Ewan McGregor is voicing, the other two are Robots and Gnomeo and Juliet.
