Studios To Take On 'Voyeur' Thriller
[Wednesday, March 26th, 2003]Ashok Amritraj's Hyde Park Entertainment and Fox Searchlight Pictures have teamed to produce the high-concept, sexually charged thriller 'Voyeur', says Hollywood Reporter.
The feature will be a directorial debut for filmmaker Patrick Daughters. Daughters, who is also writing the script to 'Voyeur', was a finalist in last year's Chrysler/Hypnotic Million Dollar Film Festival, while his short film 'In Life We Soar' earned him a slot as a finalist for the Student Academy Awards.
'Voyeur' takes place in a small, terror-stricken suburb where two bodies are discovered in a local lake. The ensuing investigation and the town's submission to fear and suspicion are chronicled exhaustively by an obsessive young videographer.
