Al Pacino In Remake 'Witness For The Prosecution'
[Thursday, December 2nd, 2004]
Based on the Agatha Christie play, which was filmed in 1957 with Billy Wilder at the helm and Charles Laughton as the lead attorney in a case in which a wife appears as a witness for the prosecution against her husband.
Robert Benton (The Human Stain) has shown interest in directing the movie, and Pacino decision on starring will most likely depend on choice of director.
