John Carpenter Remaking 'The Fog'
[Friday, October 29th, 2004]Revolution Studios is looking to remake the 1980 horror-thriller The Fog, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
John Carpenter who originally directed the movie, will only be involved in a producers role in the remake. "I have done it once, and I don't want to do it again," said Carpenter.
"I did my 'Fog,' and now it's someone else's time. It's very flattering. It's terrific that they want to make it. We have been thinking of doing 'The Fog' over for some time, as maybe a sequel. But now is the season of the remake."
