Hudson Talks About Feathers

Movies
Popcorn recently had a chance to talk to Kate Hudson about the movie 'Four Feathers'. The Oscar nominated actress and daughter of Goldie Hawn just finished shooting the movie, which is directed Shekhar Kapur ('Elisabeth') who she described as "such an amazing director". And she said that "I can't wait to see the finished product." Also starring in the movie is Heath Ledger('The Patriot') and Wes Bentley('American Beauty'). Heres the rest of the report from Popcorn:

She describes the shoot as "really hard", mainly because of the awful weather. Morocco was besieged by dreadful storm conditions, making 'Feathers' a "difficult shoot".

As for the movie itself, Hudson appears to have some difficulty describing it, commenting: "it's so complicated...it's a war film, it's a war love story film". She can tell you that it's set during the war between Britain and the Sudan in 1884. Ledger is set to play a British officer who deserts his position just before the battle kicks off, leaving his fiancée and friends devastated.

Hudson plays the fiancée, a girl she describes as "sad" and who "loses a part of herself somewhere along the line". Bentley plays an officer who falls for Hudson after Ledger goes missing.
