Pixar To Film Family Of Superheros

Pixar the company behind "Monsters Inc" are to team up with Disney again for "The Incredibles" a film about a family of superheroes, reports Variety.

Following the previously announced "Finding Nemo," which has already been slated for summer 2003, companies will release "The Incredibles" as their 2004 holiday season entry.

"Incredibles," an action-adventure CGI comedy directed by "The Iron Giant" helmer Brad Bird and executive produced by "Toy Story" helmer John Lasseter, is about a family of superheros who tries to live a normal life.

It is expected to be released in 2004.

Slated for 2005 is "Cars," which will mark Lasseter's first trip to the director's chair since "Toy Story 2." Pic, also CGI, will follow an assortment of autos as they travel Route 66.
