Jane, Sizemore In 'The Dreamcatcher'

Movies
Thomas Jane('Original Sin') and Tom Sizemore('Pearl Harbor') have been cast in Castle Rock Entertainment's feature adaptation of Stephen King's best-selling novel 'The Dreamcatcher,' reported The Hollwood Reporter.

Lawrence Kasdan is set to direct the thriller and the movie was adapted for the screen by William Goldman.

The premise of the movie is about four childhood friends -- among them Jane's character -- who share telepathic powers. Years later, they must reunite and use their powers to save Earth from a mysterious force. Jane plays the lead role of Dr. Henry Devlin, a Harvard grad who is a brilliant psychiatrist in Boston determined to commit suicide by year's end.

Morgan Freeman was cast this week to play Col. Kurtz, an overzealous military man sent in by the government to combat the force. Sizemore will play Owen Underhill, a soldier who begins to question his allegiance to Kurtz.

The project goes into production in January in Vancouver.
