Knight Rider to hit the big screen

Movies
David Hasselhoff has announced he's set to take Knight Rider and KITT to the big screens. Popcorn reports he's "all set to make a very big feature film based on the talking car and his detective sidekick".

According to Hasselhoff a deal was struck on Friday and though the movie is in very early stages, he already has some plans for "doing it a little bit like 'The Matrix'."

No director has been confirmed but the cast appears to be based around that of the original television series with only the late Edward Mulhare missing (who stared as Knight's boss Devon Miles), however Hasselhoff says he be "back as a hologram".
