Heidi, 21st Century Style

There has been another adaptation of the Johanna Spyri Novel, suprisingly called 'Heidi'. "This is a modern Heidi, a young person with contemporary ideas and principles, a heroine who is a go-getter and who touches us by simple, intuitive integrity," Markus Imboden, the movie's director, told CNN.

The $3.5m movie is a futuristic version, like instead of mountains and viliages theres skyscrapers and single-parent families. The movie opened in Switzerland this week.
